Grilled Steak with Ajvar

A juicy steak gets a smoky, spicy twist with ajvar.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (or your preferred cut)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup ajvar

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Steak: Rub the steaks with olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes before grilling.
  2. Grill the Steak: Preheat your grill to high heat. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust to your desired level of doneness.
  3. Serve with Ajvar: Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with a generous dollop of ajvar on top or on the side as a dipping sauce.
